2015年深圳国际赛决赛轮，中国新星李昊桐发挥出色，完成比赛时他来到了单独领先的位置，冠军离他咫尺之遥。54洞领先者奇拉德克-阿费巴拉特（KiradechAphibarnrat）来到第17洞，此时他落后完赛的李昊桐2杆，他深知最后两个洞的重要性。在这一洞，他第一杆的开球非常好，第二杆用木杆直接攻上果岭，小球距离球洞只有6码左右，第三杆，阿费巴拉特抓住机会，一推进洞抓下老鹰球。凭借着在17号洞的“鹰击长空”，他将比赛拖入了延长赛，最终战胜李昊桐赢得冠军。
Overnight leader Kiradech Aphibarnratrallied late on to force a play-off with and then beat Chinese teenage sensation Li Haotong at the inaugural Shenzhen International. And the critical moment just happened in 17th hole of the final round.
Li, having completed his round, was watching on TV to see if he would become the first Chinese player to win a European Tour event on home soil when Aphibarnrat sensationally eagled the 17th with a putt of 18 feet to emerge froma congested leaderboard and draw level on 12 under par.
Aphibarnrat repeated his approach in play-off to find the middle of the green while Li left himself a much longer putt. And after the19 year old made a four for par, Aphibarnrat sunk a beauty for birdie and celebrated loudly in contrast to the stunned crowd.
一年以后，2016深圳国际赛精彩再次上演，在最后的第四轮中，韩国小将李首民（Lee Soomin）也在第17号洞力挽狂澜。李首明完成16号洞时领先第二名2杆，来到17号洞，第二杆他选择用木杆攻果岭，最终将球攻上果岭距离球洞5码，最后一推进洞拿下老鹰球，稳稳地拿下冠军。
In the final round of 2016 Shenzhen International, Lee, Alexander Levy, Lee Slattery, Joost Luiten, Brandon Stone and Scott Hend all had a chance to take the crown, with just one shot separating the six players as the weather-delayed event came down to a day five shoot out.
The South Korean began the day in a shareof top spot with five holes to play and a birdie on the 16th followed by an eagle on the 17th helped him sign for a closing 71 and get to 16 under.That gave him a two-shot victory over Luiten and Stone. He came into the last hole with a two-shot lead, claiming his first European Tour title at Genzon Golf Club.
深圳国际赛的第一个“信天翁”也来自17号洞。在2016年深圳国际赛第三轮，43岁的澳大利亚老将斯科特·亨德（Scott Hend）创造了这项奇迹，他第二杆用5号木直接将球从球道打进球洞，拿下他职业生涯中的第六只“信天翁”。
On the third round of 2016 Shenzhen International,shot-of-the-day honours went to Scott Hend,who made history by becoming the first player to make an albatross at the Shenzhen International. The long-hitting Australian holed out with a 5-wood from 213 metres on the par-5 17th during the latter stages of his second round.
Hend, who made sixth albatross in his career, said:“It’s awesome. When you have a hole-in-one it’s great, but an albatross really gives you more of an edge. I three-putted the par-3 the hole before so I was lucky to get it back – and more.”

一个两次穿越水障碍的五杆洞。右侧的两个狗腿让人感到挑战和机遇共存！第一落球区长而宽，第二落球区则即是长打球手攻果岭的目标，又是一般球手第三杆切球上果岭的理想区域。果岭宽大且又平矮，关键是在球道上。在十八洞中的倒数第二个洞，什么事情都有可能发生，技术和心态左右一切！
The par-5 17th hole, crossing the water hazard for two times,gives you unpredictable result of shot. The first stroke can meet the broad fairway of left dogleg. But the second shot you have to face a long distance to reach the green by crossing another 20 yards ditch,and keeping off the surrounding bunkers. Of course that could be the third shot to make it for amateur golfers, or even worse.
