27 year-old Finnish golfer Tapio Pulkkanen is on his way to Foshan Golf Club for the 2017 Foshan Open next week. He sees it important to achieve splendor again in this significant tournament. Ranking the first place of the 2017 European Challenge Tour table, Pulkkanen won thechampionship in Kazakhstan Open earlier this year. Taking another trophy will not only solidify the dominant position but also helps with his overwhelming march towards European Tour next year.

The fact that 48 of the European Challenge Tour top 50 players flocking to win the Canton Cup makes it not easy for Pulkkanen to win. Being part of the European Challenge Tour's all-important season ending series, the Foshan Open attracts the luxury cast with a total prize of 500,000 USD this year. It is no surprise that the prestigious tournament of South China from October 19th-22nd will be a pitched battle. Coincides with European Challenge Tour, the organizer—Foshan Golf Club, will be also a birthplace of heroes. Among the confirmed international competitors, 32 year-old Julien Guerrier from France is another promising role. Born in an athletic family, Guerrier became professional golfer in 2007. He already had two wins in the European Challenge Tour this season, one in his hometown France, another in Ireland just this past September. Occupying the third place of the table, the in-form fellow is also a hot favorite of the champion. His chaser, Chase Koepka from America is worthy of attention, too. Compared with his two runners-up finished previously, picking up the Canton Cup at Foshan Golf Club will absolutely massively highlight his standings.
