Beijing, China - The China Tour announces its 2018 Season Schedule which includes 18 regular tournaments and 7 co-sanctioned tournaments. For the first time, the China Tour is introducing its season-ending flagship tournament -Tour Championship. With more detail to announce, the Tour Championship would offer top 60 available players on China Tour “Belt and Road” Honor Ranking (Detail about the Ranking can be found in the 2018 China Tour Tournament Regulation which will be released soon).
Next month, the Tour will stage two International Qualifying Tournaments and one Domestic Qualifying Tournament at OCT Kunming Wind ValleyGolf Club. This is the 3rd year that China Tour Q-school comes to the beautiful resort at Yangzong Hai Lake bay area of Kunming, Yunnan Province.
After successfully completion of 2017 season, the Tour has fulfilled all requirement that the OWGR committee requested during the one-year observation period due to its structure change in late 2016. In addition to receiving OWGR points as expected, there are more benefits to reward performance of all members of China Tour which are highlighted as below:
Membership
1、The lowest 18 finishers from Venue 1 &Venue 2 and Venue 3 after the conclusion of play will be eligible for 2018 China Tour membership, unless China Tour, in its sole discretion, elects to award a member based on other factors. In each of the two international qualifying tournaments, the low 18 will earn exempt status and the next 22 and ties will earn conditional status. (The number may be reduced if field is not full).
2、Ties will be broken for the purpose of ranking on the 2018 eligibility list by matching final round scores on the host course. Ties remaining after the match of final round scores on the host course will be broken by matching individual hole scores in descending order, beginning with the 18th hole of the final round on the host course.
3、Access to China Tour tournaments is determined by a player’s finishing position at the China Tour Qualifying Tournament. It is anticipated that conditional members will have very limited access.
4、All players receiving membership into China Tour are required to stay on the tournament venue for a mandatory orientation. Please plan your travel schedule accordingly.

Performance Benefits
A. The top 60 of 2018 China Tour “Belt and Road” Honor Ranking before the week of Tour Championship will be eligible to enter the 2018 Tour Championship.
B. The leading money winner from the China Tour Money List earns a Category-15 spot on the following season’s European Tour.
C. Next 3 leading players from the China Tour Money List are exempt into 2nd stage European Tour Q-School if not otherwise exempt.
D. Next 5 leading players from the China Tour Money List are exempt into final stage Asian Tour Q-School if not otherwise exempt.
E. All China Tour members participating a tournament co-sanctioned with Asian Tour will automatically become the Associate members of Asian Tour, provided they apply for the membership under the regulation of Asian Tour.
F. Winners of China Tour Tournaments are exempt for the remainder of the year during which they win and the following 2 calendar years. (must be professional status and meet the minimum age requirement set by CGA)
G. Top 60 Players within the 2018 China Tour “Belt and Road” Honor Ranking are exempt for the following year.
H. Exchange playing opportunities on European Challenge Tour and other international tours will be determined by China Tour and the other Tours.
