Ollie ROBERTS MAKES HISTORY AT MISSION HILLS
在观澜湖海口的别克公开赛上，Oliver Roberts 经过奋力拼争，成为第一个以香港业余球手的身份晋级PGA美巡中国系列赛的球手。亲手教他的父亲是观谰湖高尔夫学院大师教练罗志显。
Oliver Roberts has become the firstHong Kong amateur to make the cut in a PGA China Tour event thanks to abattling display at the Buick Open at Mission Hills Haikou. He is a student ofMission Hills Golf Academies, and taught by his father and Master Instructor,Iain Roberts.
第二轮比赛由于恶劣的天气被延迟，22岁作为国家队队员参赛的他克服了炎热酷暑以及狂风作乱的天气，在周六上午打完第二轮比赛之后，确定了周末参赛的席位。
The 22-year-old national team playerovercame scorching heat and gusting winds to book his place in the weekendaction – his status being confirmed when the delayed second round was completedon Saturday morning.
海口观澜湖坐落于海南热带岛屿地区，在当地72杆标准杆3号球场上，Roberts第二轮比赛交出了73杆的好成绩。
Roberts recorded an impressivesecond-round 73 on the par-72 Sandbelt Trails course at Mission Hills Haikou onthe Chinese tropical island of Hainan.
Roberts两轮过后总杆数为150杆，以+6杆的成绩成功晋级到后两轮，赢得了与PGA巡回赛以及欧巡赛经验的球手同台竞争的机会。
That left him on six-over 150 forthe tournament – good enough to make the cut in a field that includes playerswith PGA Tour and European Tour experience.
“比赛过程十分艰难，是一种身心考验，”毕业于斯特林大学的Roberts说道，“但同时也是一次很好的学习经历。让我在这个周末有额外的收货，我十分期待接下来的两轮比赛。”
“Playing conditions have been toughand it’s been a physical test as well as a mental one,” said the Stirling Universitygraduate. “But it’s also been a fantastic experience and a great learningcurve. Making it into the weekend is a bonus and I’m looking forward to thenext two rounds.”
周五的比赛Roberts从第10号洞之后一路都打得十分平稳，并在第17洞5杆洞抓到一只小鸟，最终以平标准杆的成绩成功获得最后两轮比赛的“入场券”。
After starting from the 10th tee onFriday, Roberts played with great assurance and snared a vital birdie on his17th hole – the par-five eighth – followed by a par at the last to book histicket for the final two rounds.
中国球手曹一以领先优势进入到第三轮，-7杆的他以3杆优势领先排名并列的美国球手JonMcLean，John Young Kim以及Kenneth McCready。
China’s Cao Yi was the tournamentleader heading into the third round, his seven-under total giving him athree-shot lead over a trio of Americans, Jon McLean, John Young Kim andKenneth McCready.
别克公开赛揭开了今年13站PGA美巡中国系列赛的序幕。在这一赛季结束之际，榜单排名前五的球手将赢得参加Web.com巡回赛美国站的机会。
The Buick Open is the first of 13tournaments on this year’s PGA China Tour schedule. At the season’s end, thetop five in the Order of Merit will earn playing rights on the Web.com Tour inthe United States.
