“A Successful Skins Game at OrientGolf Qingdao”


9月15日，东方青岛高尔夫俱乐部的会员及嘉宾朋友们参加了有趣又精彩的高尔夫比赛，以逐洞赛的方式为本场比赛记分。
On Friday September 15 the members andguests of Orient Golf Qingdao competed in a fun and exciting golf tournament.The scoring format for the event was a Skins Game event.


20世纪80年代初期，逐洞赛开始流行，每年都有PGA球员们参加，当时这个比赛被称之为“逐洞赛”。从那时起，逐洞赛一直是全世界球员们较为喜欢的比赛方式。
Skins Games were popularized in the early1980’s with a annual game played by PGA Tour leaders. The game was called “TheSkins Game”.  Since the early 80’s skinsgames have been a favorite format for golfers around the world.




逐洞赛规则较为简单。每位选手都将钱放在“皮”囊中，打18洞，并记录自己的成绩，所有球员的成绩被统计在记分板上；然后，比较每个洞的成绩，成绩最低的选手将赢得分数。当所有选手回场，比较之后，就很容易看出最低分的选手，得分的选手将分走“皮”囊中的奖金。

The rules for a Skins Game are simple.  Each player contributes funds to a “SkinsMoney Pot”.  Then all golfers play theirown ball for 18 holes, and record their actual gross score on the officialtournament scorecard.  All of the golfersscores are recorded on a scoreboard. Next, each hole-by-hole score is compared, and any golfer who makes thelowest score on any hole, from the entire field of players, wins a skin.  At the completion of all player’s rounds allholes are compared and the lowest hole scores are highlighted.  The lowest score on any hole is called a“Skin”. The total number of skins make for the day is divided by the total“Skins Money Pot”.


我们的比赛，最后决出了5位得分选手。32位参赛选手向“皮”囊中奉献了3200元奖金，每位得分选手赢得奖金640元。
Our Skins game just completed and fivegolfers won a “Skins”.  With 32 playersin the field and a “Skins Money Pot” of 3200 each Skin won was work 640.
