We had great success hosting the Buick Ladies Invitational. Many players commented how beautiful our course is and what excellent condition our greens are in; everyone praised how smooth and fast the greens were, which averaged between 10.5 and 11.  We hope you enjoyed playing in these tournament-like conditions this past week.
上周我们成功举办了“别克女子高尔夫邀请赛”，美丽球场的景致及果岭品质受到众多球员的肯定，所有人对于果岭的平整及平均推杆速度在10.5-11非常赞赏，希望您在过去一周里已经享受到了赛事场地的品质。


In order to make a strong root system and prepare for the hot summer months ahead, Sunday the 25th and Monday the 26th (weather permitting), we will adjust our green’s maintenance procedures. Our GCM team must raise the height of cut, aerate and topdress all the putting greens.  This is to relieve soil compaction and create air space to increase the depth of the roots.  During this time, green speeds will be between 9 and 10.  
为使果岭的根系更为茁壮的生长，以为盛夏来临做好充分的准备，确保果岭可以顺利度过炎炎的夏日，在5月25日及26日，将调整果岭草坪养护工作；草坪养护部门将会调高割草高度及打孔并铺沙。这些工作将有利于松土及制造透气性以促进草根的长度，在这段时间，果岭的推杆速度将尽量保持在9-10之间。


In addition to the greens, we will be verticutting and topdressing our tees and fairways.  This will encourage new thick growth and smooth-out the surface.  Playing conditions will not be affected during these procedures.
除了果岭的养护工作之外，我们将对发球台和球道作梳草及铺沙，这会促进草坪的密实生长及平整，在执行这些工作时，并不会影响您的打球。
