亲爱的各位会员，正值深冬，在寒冷的清晨有可能会遇到暂时的结霜。为了保护草地和保障球员们的击球体验，如遇结霜日，俱乐部可能需要延迟开场直至地面回暖，霜消失。


霜是在昼夜温差大、夜间无风时，偶然性出现的情况，会随着日出以后的温度升高而熔化消失。如无视草地结霜而直接开场，将会对草地造成不可挽回的损失，使其更易遭受疾病和杂草的威胁。

Dear members,
In winter, we may encounter temporary frost in a cold early morning. In order to protect the grass and guarentee our members' golfing experience, the club might need to run a frost delay and push back all the tee times until the ground has warmed up enought to melt the frost.


Frost occurs occasionally when the temperature between day and night vary themendously or there is no wind at night. It will melt and disappear with the rising temperature after sunrise. If frost on the course is ignored and regular play commences it will cause damage to the playing surface and makes the grass susceptible to disease and weeds.
