今年下半年西丽还将举办两场俱乐部赛事，为了完善球会的会员差点体系，在俱乐部锦标赛中，我们将会使用到俱乐部差点，即USGA差点。



我们诚挚邀请各位会员日常击球后在出发台提交记分卡5张及以上，生成您的俱乐部差点。希望各位会员尽快行动起来！


Xili Golf and Country Club will be hosting two further club events in the second half of this year. In order to ensure the fairness of the club championship we will use the Club's handicaps, which is based on the USGA handicap.


We sincerely invite all members to submit 5 or more score cards at our Starter Control after your daily golf rounds to generate your club handicap! We hope that all members will participate and submit your score cards as soon as possible!

What is the USGA handicap?
A1：USGA差点是美国高尔夫球协会（USGA）建立起的世界上第一套成体系的高尔夫差点系统。如今已覆盖60多个国家和地区超2300万用户，是当今世界上最完善、最科学、覆盖人群最广的高尔夫差点系统。西丽球会目前使用的差点系统正是经中国高尔夫球协会授权推广的官方高尔夫球差点系统——USGA差点系统。


The United States Golfing Association (USGA) developed the world’s first golf handicap system. Now covering more than 23 million users in over 60 countries and regions, it is the world’s most complete scientific and widely used golf handicap system. Xili Golf and Country Club currently uses the USGA handicap system, the official golf handicap system promoted by the China Golf Association.

有的球场难度大，有的球场却很简单，USGA差点可以合理表现我的高球水平吗？
Some courses are difficult while others are relatively easy, how can the USGA handicap system accurately assess my golfing level?
A2：USGA差点系统的核心是球场难度值评定，即用一套标准将每座球场、每套发球台的难度量化。在此基础上，所有打球者在所有球场的打球成绩都可以量化为一个公允的水平，使得程度不同的所有业余高尔夫球员都能在任何球场公平竞争。


At the core of the USGA handicap system is the systematic evaluation of the difficulty of each course and tee via quantitative means. On this basis, golfers of varying abilities can be quantified and compared such that even amateur golfers can compete fairly on any course.

USGA差点是如何计算的？我打了90杆，减去标准杆，18不正是我的差点吗？
How is the USGA handicap calculated? If I hit 90, minus par, 18 isn’t exactly my handicap is it?
A3：USGA差点指数的计算方式，并不是球手成绩与标准杆的简单差值。而是在累计的多次差点微分中，选取最低的一个乘以系数计算得出的。每次差点微分，又是根据球手当轮成绩与球场的难度值、球场坡度的难度值再与系数相乘计算得出的。简而言之，USGA差点可以近似理解为选取5次成绩中最好的一次计算得出的。且差点指数的建立过程需要保持连续性，提交更多的成绩，有助于差点更准确地体现您的打球水平。如表格所示。


The USGA handicap index is not the simple difference between a player's performance and the par. Instead, it is calculated by taking the lowest of the cumulative multiple-handicap differentials and multiplying it by the coefficient.   Each handicap differential is calculated by multiplying the player's performance with the degree of difficulty of the course and the degree of difficulty of the slope of the course and the coefficient. In short, the USGA handicap can be roughly understood as the calculation of selecting the best of the 5 results. The process of establishing the handicap index is continually updated as more rounds are played, which helps to more accurately reflect your playing level. As shown in the table.

A4：俱乐部 (USGA) 差点不仅能够为您的“让杆”提供清晰合理的标准，还能使您设定目标并为更低的差点而拼搏。同时方便各位会员参与业余赛事。


The Club (USGA) handicap not only provides clearand reasonable standards for your "handicap", it also allows you toset goals and strive for a lower handicap. At the same time, it is convenientfor all members to participate in amateur events.

西丽球会如今正在使用USGA差点计算方式，我们鼓励所有会员提交更多的成绩。请您连续在出发台投记分卡5张及以上，并及时更新成绩，出发台会在系统中为您存档成绩，计算出差点。未来的高尔夫球赛中，我们也将坚持差点正规化，以保障净杆比赛的公平。请您知悉，报名时务必提供本俱乐部差点，口头差点以及非USGA计算方式的其他俱乐部差点，我们将不予认可。为了避免影响您参与球赛，我们在此呼吁，需要差点的球友请尽早开始提交成绩！


Xili Club is currently using the USGA handicap calculation method, and we encourage all members to submit more score cards. Please put 5 or more score cards at the Starter Control and update the score card as you play. Our Starter Control will input the scores for you and calculate your handicap. In all future club golf tournaments, we will insist on formalizing the Club’s handicaps system to ensure the fairness of the competition. Please note that all players who would like to join the Club’s golf tournaments shall have a valid club handicap.  Any verbal handicap, handicaps that are from other golf clubs which are not in the USGA calculation will not be accepted upon registration. In order not to affect your participation in our future tournaments, we would like to call on all members to start submitting your scores as early as possible!
