Sharon Shan, who has not played for several months because of the epidemic, admitted that she was not comfortable in the first round. During the second round, she changed her strategy and adopted a more conservative style of play, which gave herself a chance to win the competition.
"I was actually a bit conservative today, but I still rushed when it was time to rush! Yesterday's strategy was a bit problematic, because there were bunkers in many holes. So, if I attacked, there was a high chance of getting into the sand. I went to the sand a lot and changed my strategy today. Today I played fairly accurate within 100 yards, and my putter was strong, even with a long putt. Yesterday my putter was not very accurate. As long as I looked at the line, my strength was basically controlled. The overall situation was within my expectations."
Sharon Shan, who is currently in her second year of high school, is working hard for the goal of going to college in the United States by playing golf. Although there has been fewer chance to compete due to the impact of the epidemic recently, she does not dare to relax and has been preparing for the next competition. With the continuous improvement of golf technology, her mentality has also become more stable. From her, we have seen the experience and growth of young players in the PGA Junior Series. "You still need to be calm when you play. If you are too excited, you may hit the ball crooked. Find a way to both calm yourself and your mind."
We hope that more players become stronger through persistence and hard work, live up to their love of the game, and become the next champion!
