威海高尔夫传承博物馆在高尔夫运动回归奥林匹克比赛的2016年正式建成。这是中国第一家私人高尔夫传承博物馆。高尔夫传承博物馆为非营利性机构，对业内人士免费预约开放。
Golf Heritage Museum (GHM) was founded in Weihai in 2016, the year golf returned to the Olympic Games. It is the first private golf heritage museum in China. GHM is a non-profit organization and is open free of charge to visitors by appointment.

博物馆的宗旨是弘扬源自苏格兰的现代高尔夫运动的历史和文化，组织古董胡桃木球杆比赛，推进古董高尔夫球杆和用品的收藏、展示和交流。博物馆馆长邢文军是美国和英国高尔夫收藏协会会员，同时是中华高尔夫收藏协会会长和发起人。
The mission of GHM is to promote the history and culture of the modern game of golf originated from Scotland, organize hickory golf tournaments, facilitate the collection, display and exchange of antique golf clubs and other memorabilia. Dr. Wayne Xing, Curatorof GHM, is a member of both the U.S. and the British Golf Collectors Society. He is also the founder and president of China Golf Collectors Society.

威海刘公岛上有中国最早并且现存的9洞高尔夫球场，具有典型的苏格兰林克斯风格。球场于1901年由英国海军建立，2010年威海市政府在原址重建。
Weihai’s Liugong Island boasts China’s earliest existing 9-hole golf course with distinct Scotish links style. The course was built by the British Navy in 1901 and was rebuilt by the City of Weihai in 2010.
主要藏品：18-20世纪初古董胡桃木球杆（长鼻子、短鼻子、早期铁杆、推杆、专利球杆）、羽毛球、古塔胶球、橡胶球、液体球、古董高尔夫绘画和摄影艺术品、古董球包、奖杯、奖牌、铜像、银器、玻璃和陶瓷制品、饰品、训练设备、古董球丁、球会会所标牌、果岭修复器、日用品、玩具。
